The pedocracy, its techie minions, and the American collapse that they’re scrambling to manage

Right now, the more “globalist” wing of our ruling class is trying to use the revelations about the Trump wing’s sexual crimes as a social release valve. The part of the capitalist class whose interests are centrally based within global finance, as opposed to the domestically based wing which Trump represents, has allowed for major truths about Epstein to come out. And this action has multiple purposes, beyond the most obvious one of dealing a tactical blow against the Trump wing. The other purposes are to normalize pedophilia—since none of the people whose crimes have been exposed are going to be prosecuted—and to manage the collapse of the United States. A collapse that our rulers would prefer not to happen, but they’ll need to gain control over to stop it from bringing revolutionary victory for the American people.

The actors who’ve let these revelations happen, and allowed them to be shared across social media without restriction, could have avoided certain risks to their own interests by choosing to keep this information secret. They could have collaborated with the Trump wing in suppressing it—as they’ve collaborated with Trump in numerous other ways—and thereby prevented mass consciousness from becoming further advanced on the issue of ruling-class pedophilia. But they’ve made the calculus that letting this consciousness become more developed is an acceptable price to pay, compared to the benefits which normalization will bring. They truly believe that the American people won’t gain the popular organization required to actually mount an effective response towards the Epstein crimes; that the people will simply take in this information and go about their usual lives, no matter how shocking the information is.

It’s the same desensitization tactic that they’ve used with Gaza when they haven’t been able to stop the genocide from being livestramed. When it comes to ruling-class abuse rings, or Gaza, or any other ongoing crime by our rulers, the only way we’ll be able to make the information materially matter is by getting organized. By re-learning the traditions in working-class collective struggle which the capitalists took away from Americans generations ago.

This is the essence of what our response towards the Epstein developments must be: seek out the tools that can let us assert our interests in the class war. If this were all there is to the present task, though, then American revolutionary politics would already have won. All that Marxists like myself would need to do is repeat the basic phrases about class war, and the American masses would automatically know what to do. To build a popular resistance against the capitalist power structure that produced these crimes, and give the people an outlet for the anger they’re feeling, we’ll need to identify the nature of class power as it exists in today’s America.

The way that our rulers have been able to facilitate a gargantuan system of child abuse, and then publicize this abuse with the confidence that we can’t hold them accountable, is by offering us false avenues for dissent—the biggest of which are directly tied in with America’s global imperial war machine. For example: right now, one of these “globalist” political factions that’s using Epstein as a release valve is the “democratic socialists,” who hold a particular role in the machine to prop up imperialism. They’re the ones which, in terms of their class interests, align with the parts of the “techie” labor aristocracy that claim to be progressive or even socialist. This is an element within the imperial strata that deserves our attention, because though its social democrat politics aren’t the dominant capitalist faction, these politics serve as a critical gatekeeping force against the genuine working-class movement.

These are the “socialist” politics that have gotten propped up in the absence of an actual workers’ party, strong unions, strong rural worker organization, or a modern cross-racial proletarian alliance. They’re what the liberal technocrats have presented to us as being “socialism” when the working class has been thoroughly deindustrialized and disempowered, allowing for the professional-managerial class to dominate politics which claims to be “anti-capitalist.” This topic of controlled-opposition “revolutionary” politics is relevant to Epstein because now that the Trump wing has been dealt such a blow, and the people are getting disillusioned in unprecedented ways, ithese PMC lackeys for finance capital will be at the front of the efforts to block any real popular revolt against the pedocracy.

The politics of the PMC left are increasingly unpopular among the masses, as evidenced by how much of the traditional Democrat base (especially younger people) abandoned Harris in 2024 over Gaza. But these politics don’t need to be popular to serve their purpose, which is to shut the working class out of discourse and representation. Even if the Democrats stay the opposition party, their infrastructure will remain, and will continue serving as a critical roadblock against popular struggle. It’s because of this infrastructure, this inertia within left politics, that the “democratic socialist” and “progressive capitalist” Democrats are especially comfortable with the Epstein revelations.

If the working masses were to gain the means for immediately threatening the capitalist state, these “progressive” actors within the imperialist structure would come to have a very different mindset than they have now. At this moment, both wings of the ruling class are overall quite confident, and this is shown by how little our government has come to care about public opinion. Amid this relative confidence, though, there is a scramble happening right now. The breakdown of American civilization is not something that anyone can truly control, and these elites appear in control only because they’re the most powerful ones by default; as soon as our working-class organizations start picking up major momentum, and win over millions among the post-Covid generation, we’re going to see a much bigger reaction from both elite wings.

The intensification in inter-elite conflict is an indicator of how unstable the system has already become, and where the elites are seeing reasons to be uncertain. Our government is setting a trap for dissent in the cities, trying to divert the anti-ICE protests (and the other anti-systemic trends it overlaps with) towards dead-ends which benefit the counterinsurgency. The pro-imperial “socialists” have the role of leading the anti-ICE movement into the Democratic Party, and also of keeping the movement confined to the metropolitan centers. They don’t want working-class politics to expand beyond the enclaves where petty-bourgeois radicalism dominates; which of course is the only way these politics will ever become truly working-class.

Our class enemies want every part of our responses to stay within a narrow scope; to have dissent only happen inside the online sphere, or in protests that get prevented from translating into sustained mass organization. In our mission to turn popular outrage into effective resistance, an essential tool is the ability to notice when our enemies are trying to divert us; when a certain part of capital is carrying out an operation to recapture dissent. The Democratic Party and its lackeys are easy to discredit, when we understand our audience and know how to properly explain why the Dems are hypocritical. We have the language to combat the present controlled opposition project; the next step is building the dual power that can stop our foes from crushing the popular struggle.
