Why did Donald Trump repeat the deep state’s “Iran is plotting assassinations” lie around the same time when the Lebanon pager attack happened, the Zionist state carried out the strike that killed Nasrallah, and Netanyahu more broadly intensified his atrocities against Lebanon? How come Trump amplified such strategically important anti-Iran propaganda at a moment when the U.S. empire brought these unprecedented escalations with Iran? It’s not because Trump is the favored candidate among our ruling class; Harris has the support from monopoly capital’s dominant wing. Rather it’s because the monopolists and their intelligence forces are using MAGA as a tool for controlled opposition, acting to steer the discourse away from anti-imperialist ideas. This psyop advances both the hybrid war against BRICS, and the counterinsurgency against domestic dissent, which must succeed in order for the empire’s next war plans to be feasible.
By getting Trump to run cover for the same intelligence agencies that tried to assassinate him, and shift his base’s anger towards a key geopolitical target country, the deep state has ensured its continued domination over the U.S. government. It’s guaranteed that MAGA’s future role will be to further the anti-woke psyop, and to deflect the conservative base’s focus towards hating certain countries. This is part of the broader narrative manipulations targeting the right, where sentiments promoting the “Jewish question” have been boosted on Elon Musk’s Twitter.
The goal is to divert conservatives with proto anti-imperialist consciousness towards blaming ethnic and social scapegoats, weakening the right’s interest in an antiwar movement. And because Trump has let this psyop influence MAGA, the Harris wing of our ruling class is in a better place to win. The Trump campaign’s embrace of anti-woke rhetorical tactics and CIA talking points has taken away its populist appeal, making Trump a weaker opponent. If the efforts of the discourse managers fully succeed, Harris will be installed a month from now, letting the preferred post-election plan be implemented.
The handlers behind Harris aim to instigate violent protests, activating federal agent provocateurs on both the right and the left. They’ll use these new January 6-type events to justify raiding and arresting many more dissident figures, from journalists to organizers to lower-level figures within the ruling class. This power grab is what’s needed for making Washington ready to launch a new big war, and a series of color revolutions targeting the BRICS countries.
Speaking about the situation that the U.S. empire is now in, where it’s replaced the mentally unfit Joe Biden with its favored regime change tool Kamala, Alastair Crooke observes what kind of strategy our ruling class is likely to next embrace. This is a plan where, as was called for in a recent Washington Post piece, the U.S. will react to its losses by imposing dictatorial measures for the big tech age:
A stumbling ‘Emperor’ has been overthrown. There is no real crown prince; only an ‘adopted daughter’. It is deliberate. The Power-oligarchy (the ‘Senate’, if we follow the Ancient analogy), seems indifferent to the lacuna. It is intent to rule, as the Washington Post reports – outing the Oligarchic thinking: rule via a consensus of ‘democracy-supporting’ institutions as a kind of ‘permanent secretariat’ (a notion that has been kicking around since the 2016 election ‘loss’)…Should the war fail, the American institutional leadership attached to this particular Consul would forfeit its raison d’être. A whole leadership cadre would be hollowed out – bereft of purpose. The Institutional leadership class as a whole would be weakened. What is the way out then, as the homeland slowly implodes? Well, the Washington Post article concludes by advocating a new supra-national global governance Order; likely a Davos-style digital-authoritarian governance designed to preserve a consistent policy and alignment, before the Russo-Chinese-Iranian-BRICS link-up beats them to it.
This is the social control system the empire must put in place for its next war plans to be doable, and at this moment we’re seeing the psyops that are designed to facilitate the great crackdown. The CIA’s decision to feed Trump the “Iran assassination plot” story wasn’t just about manufacturing consent for these escalations in Lebanon. It was about creating the conditions for the imperial state to suppress dissent within the USA, and to thereby vastly expand its wars. The imperialists need to figure out the domestic situation prior to going ahead with their operations abroad, because without a pacified population in the core, such an ambitious series of warfare maneuvers will certainly backfire.
The threat of repression is enormous, and is imminent. Yet we within the USA can take advantage of the losses our imperialist dictatorship is experiencing abroad. Even if the counterinsurgency’s next steps go as planned, the war on BRICS will still have unmanageable costs. The different elements within the imperial state can’t come to a consensus on how best to wage this great war, because there’s too much risk in too many places. If the U.S. were to have a war with Iran, this would devastate the U.S. economy like nothing we’ve seen in our lifetime; it would bring up the price of oil and other goods so much that the USA’s people become truly desperate, and the system’s contradictions become unmanageable. Washington is making efforts to mitigate the blowback from this potential conflict, but how much can you do to minimize a problem like that? Fear of confronting Iran exists among the more intelligent empire managers, like how fear of a direct conflict with Russia exists within the Pentagon.
Because Iran can economically destroy the empire, and further escalating with Russia would bring nuclear war, a war with China is seen as the best option. This is shown by how both the pro-Harris and pro-Trump wings are fully unified around escalating in Taiwan. It’s not like war with China wouldn’t bring gargantuan risks too, though; every part of this game the empire managers are playing involves massive trade-offs. Amid this inherent danger that the third world war poses towards imperialism’s survival, the Harris wing is pursuing an additional project, that being the instigation of numerous new color revolutions. This aspect of the post-election plan is the main reason why the CIA has been willing to fuel tensions with Iran, however risky they are; if Iran responds to the provocations with recklessness, or fails to retaliate at all, then these destabilization efforts will largely be able to succeed.
A full conflict with Iran would be the end of the “Israeli” settler state, but this state is unsustainable regardless, and the empire figures it may as well use the dying “Israel” to destroy BRICS. These crimes that Washington has been letting “Israel” commit all objectively act to speed up Zionism’s collapse. The most strategically minded U.S. foreign policy leaders know this, which is why they’re weaponizing the flailing “Israeli” regime as a tool for trying to create long-term chaos.
When they made up the Iran assassination story, and decided to let “Israel” murder all of those Lebanese civilians, the main hope was that this would cause Iran and BRICS to fall apart. That Iran would be made too divided over how to respond, the color revolution apparatus would gain an opening for success within Iran, and an important BRICS asset would be taken away. Alternatively, they hoped Iran would respond without thinking strategically, and enter into a conflict it couldn’t handle. But then Iran’s people mobilized against the pro-capitulationist forces within their government, which partly took over the country’s government following the assassination of the hardliner president Raisi. And the hardliner element, represented by the country’s highest authority Khamanei, solidified its control.
Iran retaliated in a restrained fashion, successfully demonstrating just how ineffective the “Israeli” security systems are and further harming the Zionist economy. This has both brought Zionism’s death closer, and frustrated Washington’s schemes to undermine BRICS. The direction of global events continues to go in our cause’s favor; we must make the empire’s losses abroad translate into the imperial state’s overthrow.
